Replacement
instructions for pneumatic lifting unit:
The aim is to replace the axle/lifting unit marked in
green in the image.
1. Detaching the conveyor belt unit from the lifting unit.
To remove the conveyor belt unit, loosen the screws marked in the image. The entire unit should then rest loosely on the floor.
Tip: Before loosening the screws, the axle should be moved to the lowest possible position.
2. Remove all cables and sensors from the lifting unit.
The next step is to disconnect all cables and sensors attached to the lifting unit.
Tip: Mark the sensors to avoid mixing them up during dismantling.
3. Removing the axle from the housing.
To remove the axle from the housing, the screws marked in the image must be loosened. Due to accessibility, it is recommended to remove the lower ones first.
Tip: To improve access to the lower screws, it is advisable to remove them before loosening the conveyor belt unit. The unit should not be at its lowest point during this process. The axle can then be carefully lowered to its lowest position, and step 1 can be started.
The axle can be removed from the housing after loosening all 8 screws. Installation of the new lifting unit is carried out in reverse order.
4. Aligning the axis.
To align the axis, the conveyor belts are first made parallel to the housing. The distances are measured as shown in the image, and the parallelism is adjusted by rotating the axis.
5. Aligning the conveyor belt unit.
To align the conveyor belt unit, it is leveled using a spirit level – "placed in the water". For this step, the screws from step one must be loosened slightly and only tightened after successful alignment.
6. Turn it back on and test.
Before restarting in automatic mode, the axis should be tested manually and the transitions to adjacent modules adjusted and checked. Both the upper and lower entry and exit levels must be considered.
